Watershed Stewardship

Watershed stewardship programs offered by the Ganaraska Region Conservation Authority are geared towards assisting watershed residents, community groups, businesses and schools in carrying out stewardship projects on private and public lands in local watersheds. The Clean Water-Healthy Land Stewardship Program provides service and funding assistance to watershed residents on sound environmental practices that will enhance, restore or conserve their properties environmental features and functions. These services provide support for reforestation, erosion control and wildlife habitat enhancement, well management, and urban and agricultural best management practices.
