Every spring the Ganaraska Region Conservation Authority (GRCA) partners with Ontario Power Generation to deliver the important message of spring water awareness though the SWAP program. Grade 4 students from 6 different school boards have the opportunity to heighten their knowledge about what to do around flooding, ice, and rivers and lakes in the spring time. This interactive safety education program, that the GRCA outdoor education staff come in to the classroom to deliver, is 45 minutes in length and can be booked by calling Michelle Giddings at 905.885.9173 ext 227 or by email mgiddings@grca.on.ca
