Wanted: Watershed Plan Public Input

The Ganaraska Region Conservation Authority is looking for interested members of the public to sit on Watershed Plan Community Advisory Committees.  These two committees will assist in the development of the Ganaraska River, Wilmot Creek, Graham Creek, Lovekin Creek, Bouchette Point Creek and Port Granby Creek Watershed Plans.  The plans will create a framework to guide the protection, management, rehabilitation, and enhancement of these Cobourg local watersheds and their resources.

The Community Advisory Committee will be tasked with promoting awareness of planning process and solicit input from broader community, providing input and advice on issues and watershed management alternatives, and providing input and advice to the watershed plans.  The Community Advisory Committee will meet one or two evenings a month from July/August to November/December.
